More Than 100 Gifts Collected for Angel Tree Drive
December 18, 2017
This holiday season, Security National Bank of South Dakota is proud to announce it collected more than 100 gifts underneath the Salvation Army "Angel Trees" located at each Sioux Falls branch. The gifts will be donated to children in need in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.
Every Christmas, The Salvation Army of Sioux Falls collects gifts for children in need through the Angel Tree toy drive. The goal this year was to provide gifts to more than 3,000 children across Lincoln and Minnehaha counties — and SNB of South Dakota was proud to do its part.
Each tag on an "Angel Tree" represents the wishes of a Sioux Falls area child in need. From Nov. 24 - Dec. 15, SNB employees and customers picked tags off the trees, purchased the gifts and returned them, unwrapped, to an SNBSD branch. Gifts included bicycles, play kitchens, tech toys and Lego sets, among other toys in high demand on wish lists this Christmas season.
"Our customers did us proud by contributing so many gifts for so many children in need," said Gary Dybsetter, president of SNB of South Dakota. "We were proud to partner with the Salvation Army for such a worthy cause, and we hope to be able to do it again next year."
